Welcome

To Br. Mutien-Marie School of Mbalmayo

We are a vibrant Lasallian Community. This year our community is growing, some one hundred and sixty boys and girls are registered at Mutien-Marie. Forty adults have enrolled in our computer training program. That is approximately an increase of 10% compared to last year. With the demand we have created two new academic programs: Social living and family economy; Apparel industry.
Eight new Lasallian Volunteers have joined our team and of course we have said goodbye to those who, for the last two years were working enthusiastically in our center. We wish them well. We also welcome the new academic staff who is joining our school this year. This is the second year in our new buildings, last year was challenging, but most of you did well. Changes can be overwhelming, but I am happy that in this transitioning period, both staff and students have responded with a wonderful support.
We continue be thankful to the Lasallian Volunteers Association and their partners for providing to us a new and safe environment for our school. Mutien-Marie wants to continue to be a home for many of our students who find this place a unique and safe place to come.
As a Lasallian community, we want to foster the spirit of Faith in the love and presence of God; Concern for those who need us; Respect for all mostly for those of different: faith, tribe and villages; we regard highly the quality of our education and we must thrive to have an inclusive community.
